My name is Laura Thykeson, and I have been a practicing Artist for over 15 years. I began painting as a form of "therapy", as I suffer from chronic depression and generalized anxiety disorder. Therefore, I find it easier for me to work from the safety of my home, and deal with my clients through emails and phone calls. Some of my Artistic accomplishments in the past have been:
Owning my own custom art shop for over a year
Working from home, selling my creations, for the last 20 years
I have had two poems published
Learned to play the acoustic guitar at 9, with no formal lessons
I have sold my paintings and art pieces to wholesalers in both Texas and Colorado
Have had my own line of hand-painted clothing and accessories
